Why do people like AVG antivirus?

As compared to avast, or SUPERAntivirus or AntiVir

Why do people like AVG antivirus?abtuvurys 2005

I love avg...I did not like avast. The interface looks like a windows media player and was difficult to understand on how to scan..plus there were several files that avast would not scan..and it never gave a reason as to why it wasn't scanning them.

AVG is very easy to understand and to set up...plus it works great!

Why do people like AVG antivirus?antivirus programs

because its the best thing out there and its free

works+ free=great
AVG is free.

AVG also removes virus's that McAfee and Norton claim they cannot remove.

I won't say AVG is the best, but it's certainly much better than some of the alternatives.

2. It is low on computer resources(does not bloat up the system like symantec)

Because i have used Norton and it crashed my PC and had to update it by buying it every 6 months and this is free and has caught every virus that has tried to attack my computer,But 1 and it was a virus that over rode my system scanners,So i love it because it works
it works well, it's free, and it's one they know about (this last part is probably what distinguishes it from the other two)
I have AVG on my computer and it works great. I like it because it is free and you can choose for it to scan different sections of your computer or scan a program for a virus.
Most people like things that are free, and it happens to be a decent anti-virus application.

It's a competitor to Norton and others just based on the fact that it's free.
Because it is FREE and works just as good if not better than all the commercial Antivirus programs like Norton and McAfee.
