Virus pop warning on which program?

There's an anti-virus program that has a scanner constantly running in the background and when it finds something a little window rolls up in the bottom right of the screen and you hear a little siren followed by the words "warning, there is a virus on your computer". Is this avast anti-virus or AVG antivirus?

if its AVG it has like a flag with Black, Green, Red

there are spyware/virus that say they are an antivirus and has found threats on your computer, and the only way to get rid of it, is to purchase their shitty software.

free.grisoft.com for AVG

and download theirs and install it over the one you have, just to be on the safe side
Yes, it's Avast. I have it and it does it's own updates. I got it when I put more ram. I like it.
