How do i get rid of microsoft internet explorer provided by tesco internet access?

i dont have tesco internet access i have virgin broadband ,i have tried control panel,add or remove programs but it does not show on that so how can i delete it ,that spinning around and taking ages to let you open anything is driving me nuts it always ends up with the page saying cannot find server. i have avast for protection ,thats the only one i want.but cant delete the tesco one.

Click start then search type in what you are looking for then delete.

Have a look in add and remove programs and remove any thing you dont want then just completely ignore Internet explorer and get Mozilla Firefox http://www.filehippo.com/download_firefo...



Also if you really want to uninstall Internet Explorer tick show updates at the top of add/remove programs window and it should be in the list
Look at this article from the Microsoft Knowledge Base. You have to change the Registry, so be very careful. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/176497.
Do not remove Internet Explorer, otherwise you will not get secruity updates from Microsoft, leave I.E well alone !!!!!!
