here it goes. i just bought a Dell inspiron 530s computer a few weeks ago. it is a 500gb hd. right now it is at 455gb. we all know that OS is the one that takes that space. But here what really bothers me. when i got the computer. i had 435+ free of space. then everytime i go on my computer, it decreases my space. For Example, a few days ago it was at 435gb. then today it becomes 430,then 429 and right now, it is at 422gb free of space. i have not downloaded anything. the recent downloaded program that i downloaded was the avast antivirus. Everyday it seems to decrease my hard drive space. i checked a virus check, NOTHING!!!, i checked windows defender...nothing!!!, i don't know what's going on. Can anybody pplease help me. This computer is brand new, and it is eating up my hard drive space drastically everyday.

It's most likely system restore taking images. If it continues, ask a professional.
