I have been having some really weird things happening to my computer and im afraid I might have a virus...First off When I put things into my Recycle bin and try to delete them nothing shows up...its like the little flashlight keeps going back and forth for hours....then If i wanna move a file to another file it says that I can't because the file is currently in use..but it does this for everything....Then my computer crashes at random....everything is going crazy...does anyone know what might be wrong or if their are any good anti virus/ spyware/malware removal programs...I have avast now..but i dont think its working.

Windows defender beta it will scan your pc and let you know whats happening. Also you windows live care also is free and will scan and clean any virus that you have. You do have a virus for sure.

Ad-Aware and/or Spybot Search and Destroy.
Ok, Here are some things to try.
Go get the AVG Free virus scanner from www.grisoft.com
Get the program AdAware 6.0 from www.lavasoft.com
and finally, get the program spybot search and destroy.
All programs are free, and if the websites do not work, google for the names of the programs.
If I were you I would run the virus scan first, followed by the AdAware, then follow it up with Spybot. These should help...
Most of all, get yourself a good firewall, Use the windows firewall if you have XP service pack 2, or try ZoneAlarm if you have an earlier system.

yeah you may have a virus that you can't delete or even spy ware.
