My girlfriend's got a very old computer. She is using avast for virus protection but she is looking for a free program to help with all her registry errors startup errors and many others. can someone please give her advise on what to use that will remove or fix them without her having to pay. preferably something someone has used before. The Best Thing that I would recommend is Spy-Bot search and destroy I use it my self and Consumer Reports recommended it to me. It can fix registry errors and change start-up options for free, it also scans for spy ware.
