Efw Files...?

When i try to run a installation it wont be "run" it'll be "open" which won't work and it chages to an Efw file because of Avast! Antivirus program... Does Anyone Know How To Disable this?

Yes. If you right click avast on the lower right corner, you can choose to stop protection for like 30 minutes. Do that and then install it.

What is an EFW file?

1.Go to my computer, then click Tools%26gt;Folder Options

2.Go to the "View" tab and make sure "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked. Press apply and ok.

3.Rename the file from something.ewf to something.zip, windows might popup with a message about renaming the file, just press Ok.

4.Thats it, you should be able to open the file. You can also go back and recheck the file extensions box if you want them to be hidden again.
