Computer extrmly slow, tried everything i know how to do...HELP!!!?

OK,this is getting really annoying, I've tried uninstalling all the programs I don't need, I run CCleaner daily, run virus scans with Avast! AVG Free and AVG anti-spyware. Still extremly slow, deleted startup programs, deleted sound OOPS! I'm about to snap, so what in the world do I do, reinstall windows? That was what I was thinking, so give me all you have

Its Microsoft Windows - it does that. Format %26 re-install. After your fresh install, take a system image using Ghost (or similar) - you'll need to re-install about every 6 months (on average).

Don't run conflicting anti-malware software. Use AVG Free for Windows viruses and SuperAntiSpyware for Windows spyware. Defrag daily.

You could to a windows format yes....that will make it somewhat faster...

check with your local technician about buying some more RAM (memory) for it.
Do Ctrl, Alt, Delete.

After the task manager pops up, click on the Processes tab. Right on the bottom, it should say the CPU usage of the processes listed.

If you look at the list, there will be a column called Mem Usage which has all sorts of values for different processes. Now, are there any processes which are using vast amounts of memory? If so, those may be slowing your computer so click on those and click End Task.
