Windows saying no anti virus? help?

ok i have anti spyware and avast anti virus running and also

i have comodo firewall on and windows has a red shield

popping up saying there is no anti virus or firewall on, but when

i turn xp firewall on it says its on. then i switch to comodo and it says no firewall is on.

Hi, I suggest that u disable windows firewall and only run Comodo Firewall. Its way better. As far as anti virus software is concerned, if u r sure Avast Antivirus is up and running then tell the security center u will manage ur antivirus ur self. If u feel that Avast isn't running then reinstall it. If u still get the message then security center may not be detecting Avast so u can tell it that u will monitor it ur self or u could get another antivirus. You can try AVG free, its great.

this is because there are 2 firewall and it conflicts with each other and then both of them are useless
Sounds like you have 2 conflicting firewalls on. You can only run one at once
