No anti-spyware programs will open and I KNOW I have spyware...?

whenever I try to open spybot s%26d all it does is do those two windows error noises that sound like thunks, and i get an error code with lavasoft ad aware 2007, and I can't run ANY installers at all like even for normal programs, and it's starting to make me mad... and Windows Defender keeps "...was interrupted. Please run the installer at a later time."

I restarted. Twice. Now I'm running Avast!, but I don't know if it will work because it didnt last time. Does anyone have any help?

You can do an online scan for viruses and spyware for free from the major vendors. Some of these require Internet Explorer to run because of Active-X
